Cadillac, Stability Chair & Barrels

The Cadillac, Stability Chairs, Ladder Barrels, Spine Correctors, and Arc Barrels are different types of equipment used for pilates.  They are perfect for isolating, stretching and strengthening the deep postural muscles and hard-to-work areas.  They are ideal for athletic and circuit trainers.

Pilates is a body conditioning routine that seeks to build flexibility, strength, endurance, and coordination without adding muscle bulk. In addition, pilates increases circulation and helps to sculpt the body and strengthen the body's "core" or "powerhouse" (torso).

“A body free from nervous tension and fatigue is the ideal shelter provided by nature for housing a well balanced mind, fully capable of successfully meeting all the complete problems of modern living..”

Professional dancers have used pilates for decades to keep their bodies strong, flexible and able to perform. Top athletes use it for strength, flexibility, and injury prevention. Hollywood celebrities and supermodels use it to maintain beautiful physiques. You can use pilates to create your ultimate body, enhance your strength, increase your flexibility, and develop your best posture.

Most pilates clients say they stick with the program because it's diverse and interesting. Joseph Pilates designed his program for variety — people do fewer repetitions of a number of exercises rather than lots of repetitions of only a few.  Our studio features a vast array of equipment, which provides for over 500 different exercises to keep each workout session interesting and continually challenge our clients.
